Author Bio: David Pyke

Hey there, chameleon enthusiasts! I’m David Pyke, and I’m thrilled to be your go-to chameleon-guide on this amazing journey. I’ve been hanging out with chameleons for over ten years now, and I can’t get enough of these fabulous little creatures.

My adventure into the world of chameleons began when I got my first chameleon in 2008. I kept Isambard healthy and happy for over 10 years in my care, a feat I am proud of myself for as it was my first time having a pet reptile, let alone a chameleon! As a tribute to him when he passed, I decided to make this website to help others who are just starting out by passing on all the knowledge I learned, and continue to learn, along the way.

Isambard

I’ve been where you are, the not knowing where to start to having chameleons as roommates, so I know all about the ups and downs of chameleon care. The thrill of seeing them thrive, the “what-do-I-do-now” moments – I’ve been there. I’m excited to share my experiences and tips with you so your chameleon-keeping journey can be as awesome and rewarding as mine has been.

In addition to having first-hand experience of chameleon care and to teaching chameleon care to you, my dear readers, I am also a student of chameleon care – always learning, always growing. The chameleon world is always evolving, and I’m committed to keeping up with the latest research and best practices.

I sincerely hope you find my website useful and that you have as much fun learning about these weird and wonderful creatures as I have over the years.
